A connection doesn’t look right
Open the credit notebook to check the cast or shared credit. If something still looks wrong, send us the puzzle name, edition date, and the films or actors involved so we can investigate the catalog entry.
A little help with a puzzle
Take your time: there’s no countdown. Inspect credits or use a clue when you need another way in. The Play tab also has practice puzzles at three difficulty levels.
Playing without a connection
Daily editions work offline once they have downloaded, and practice uses the catalog included with the app. A new daily edition and movie or actor artwork need an internet connection.
Progress or widgets look stale
Open Callback once, then return to the Home Screen. If a widget still has not refreshed, remove it and add it again. Your Journal, progress, and preferences are stored on your device. Practice does not affect your daily history.
Privacy and account questions
No account is required to play. Callback does not contain advertising or cross-app tracking. Our Privacy Policy explains what stays on your device, iCloud streaks, optional Game Center honors, error reports, and analytics.
